Rebuilding the desk real estate runs on

Titleman turns a brief into finished, defensible work — the model, the deck, the memo, the records — and leaves the judgment, and the signature, with the professional. Exacting standards; the tools finally caught up.

Why the name

The titleman

Every village had one. He did not own the land and he did not work it — he kept the record of who did. When a boundary was disputed they sent for him, not for the lord: his name was on the record, and nobody had ever caught him wrong.

New tools. Same job. Same standard.

The tools changed. The people checking the work did not.

FounderAlex Galt

Titleman started from a simple, stubborn observation: the people who are best at real estate spend most of their week on work that does not need them. Alex founded the company to hand that work to a machine and hand the judgment back to the professional — with the record, the sources and the signature kept exactly where they have always belonged.

He works with brokers, appraisers, lenders and counsel on the standards the product is held to, and takes part personally when a company maps its processes and plans its move to AI.
