AI Assistant

How to give the AI Assistant a job in one line, what it asks when you type only an address, how to attach the files that matter, and what the room it opens holds.

What it does

The AI Assistant is the one box where most work starts. You write the job the way you would brief an analyst — an address, a product, a question — and attach what you have. Titleman splits the message into runs, starts them in parallel and gathers the results in one room.

When to use it

Use it when you know the job but not the product, or when one message holds several jobs ("comps and a BOV on these two addresses"). If you already know the product and want its own screen and options, open that product in the left list instead; the work it starts is the same.

Do not ask it for legal, tax or residency opinions, or for a licensed appraisal. See Legal AI and Decision support for what those products do instead.

How to use it

  1. Open AI Assistant at the top of the left list. The screen asks What can Titleman help with today?
  2. Type in the box Ask about a property, or name a product — "BOV for address". A product name in the message picks the product.
  3. Typed only an address? The screen asks What to do with this address: and offers Value opinion (picked unless you change it), Underwriting, Feasibility, Comps, BOV and Scout around it.
  4. Attach the files that matter with the paperclip (Attach a file — title, rent roll, survey). Each file shows its upload progress; Send waits until every file has arrived.
  5. Press Send (or Enter; Shift+Enter starts a new line). A message that came from a workflow keeps its parts in brackets until you fill them: nothing runs until you do.

What you get back

A room. It splits your message into runs, starts them, and shows a card for each run with Open run, Retry and Stop. Each run writes its results into the room as it finishes them: the report, and the files the product produces (see What you get back). You can keep writing in the room's own box (What needs doing?) and attach Excel or PDF files there.

Every question becomes a room; you find them again under All chats in the left list.

Time and cost

A new account whose credits cover it sees Your first run is on us. The example cards on that first screen say what to expect, for instance Value and range in about 25 min for a BOV. Each run's cost is shown on the run itself; Credits and plans explains how a run is billed.
