Pipeline

How to track deals by stage in Pipeline, attach runs to them, and start comps, underwriting, a BOV deck or an OM from the deal card.

What it does

Pipeline puts your deals on a board by stage — brokerage, investing, leasing or lending — and attaches every run on the same address to its deal. Each deal card holds the deal's chat, documents, reports, deliverables, activity and contacts, and starts the next run from where you are.

When to use it

Use it as soon as an address becomes a deal you are working: to see what stage each one is in, who to call, and which reports already exist.

How to use it

  1. Open Pipeline under Workspace in the left list.
  2. Pick the pipeline at the top: Brokerage, Investing, Leasing or Lending. Each has its own stages — Brokerage, for instance, runs from Prospecting through BOV sent and PitchDeck sent to OM & Listing.
  3. Press + New deal, give the Deal title and the Object address, choose the pipeline and press Create. The deal starts in the first stage; runs attach automatically when their address matches.
  4. Or turn work you have already done into deals: under Runs not tracked as deals, press + Track as deal (or Track all).
  5. Drag a card to the next stage when the deal moves. + Add stage and the ⋯ menu on a column rename and add stages; Board and List switch the view.

What you get back

A deal card for each deal, opened from the board:

  • tabs Chat, Overview, Documents, Reports, Deliverables, Activity and Contacts;
  • Run on this deal: Comps, Underwriting, Deep underwriting, BOV deck, Excel model, Offering memorandum;
  • the follow-up call, flagged on the card when it is due or overdue.
